This month Denise and I have decided to start putting our financial situation in order and get all our outstanding debts and month to month expenditure under control.

I’m sure it will be a long hard slog but we are determined to succeed. It’s been a good start. We got through our first month within budget. More or less! I’m sure month two will go a lot more smoothly.

We have settled on a software package called YNAB (You Need A Budget). It is such a great program and has allowed us to see exactly where we spend and will allow us to more successfully budget in the coming months/years.
